Julie (aka Jewels), age 18, is an American Country singer, born and raised in the state of North Carolina. She showed an early talent for singing and continued to shine throughout recent years, participating in Clayton Idol and winning Junior Ms. Railroad Days. Jewels also has been known to volunteer her vocal love, singing at various funerals, weddings, cafes, and events. She also has taken part in the Country Music Showcase Christmas show. An odd thing that you will find about Jewels is her singing of older generation music in the new age. As a singer, she is one that loves to be on stage. “The bigger, the better.” Aside from the events that she has attended, she also has met people such as American Idol runner up Clay Aiken, and famous NC anchorman Bill Leslie, who she sang for.

In her spare time, you will find Jewels at the beach, hanging out with her friends, or practicing on the guitar. Jewels has never really showcased her vocals outside her family and friends, so a YouTube account was created in February 2012, to see if her outside viewers had the same ear as the ones who already knew of her. To that, she has received comments in more ways than what she was looking for. Once she saw that an opportunity may arrive from her viewers she dedicated herself to allowing others to hear her sing and travel as high as her goals set. She is one for high hopes to audition for music talent shows such as : X-Factor, American Idol, and The Voice in the Future. Until then, she will live life as each day grants itself amongst her family and friends in what they all like to call JOCO, North Carolina.
